Paul is the founder and lead tutor of Coombe Farm Studios, a rural art centre dedicated to growing creativity, where he lives and teaches on residential painting retreats. 

Coombe Farm Studios has been running for over 35 years and Paul teaches alongside other professional artists working in painting, printmaking, drawing and ceramics.

The tutored retreats focus on developing your skills and techniques, so you can advance your painting in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Subjects include flower painting, landscapes and Paul’s eastern approach to brushwork. 

Coombe is located in rural Devon, on the coast near Dartmouth and the village of Dittisham in designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Courses run year-round and facilities include the painting studio, workshop spaces for printmaking and ceramics and residential accommodation.
