Good news,an exhibition of all my recent work including the new abstracts and large scale Diptychs and Triptychs opens on October 24th and runs till November 15th. at Coombe Gallery 20 Foss St Dartmouth Devon.
Due to CoVid 19 restrictions I’m afraid there will be no large Private View. However I will be happy to meet you in small groups of 6 to see the work first hand.

I have been invited to join the stable of artists at the online gallery of British Contemporary Art where you may have an opportunity to buy selected works.
I am fortunate to have a four page ” in Conversation ” feature in the November issue of “The Artist” Magazine on sale now. http://www.painters-online.co.uk
Basically I’m talking about my life and my development as an artist from a tender age to the present day. I began painting at the age of ten and achieved notoriety by the age of 15. I had my first solo exhibition at the Richmond Hill Gallery at the age of 16. At that time I was working in oils, painting largely social realistic subjects from my studio in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Subjects included Pit heads, slag heaps and coal miners with their ponies. Typical of my style at the beginning of my career would be the painting entitled “Water Lane”in my first blog.
I have been writing articles for the magazine for at least 30 years so it’s nice to have one written about me! You can find details at www.painters-online.co.uk where you can buy the magazine. It should also be in WH Smith and all good newsagents. Enjoy!
Next April 2021 I shall be taking a small group of painters (8) to Catania Sicily. It is an amazing place to draw and paint with subject matter including Baroque churches, markets, great street life, delicious food and all with the amazing Backdrop of Mt Etna!
